So let me ask you a question and yes there is a wrong answer so choose wisely!! These questions will determine whether or not you would be able to work at my campus!
If I handed you 5 flyer's and asked you to post them on each of the 5 cork board's (it's in red because it's important) that reside around my little campus what medium would you use to accomplish the task! Side note my campus is very, very tiny. We have 3 small buildings and together they would just about fit inside a WalMart this will be important to the story later!
When you leave the office to post the flyer's you take with you
A. scotch tape
B. a stapler
C. None of the above instead you take just the flyer's and nothing else. Then you stand in front of the bulletin board right outside my window staring intently for about 3 minutes. Then you walk back into the office and hesitate for about 30 seconds while you decide which one of the above to go with. I know tape on a cork board it sounds so right but ugh what to do!!
Ultimately you choose the stapler and leave again to post the flyer's returning 45 minutes without the stapler and one flyer.
So did you choose B? I know it sounds like the right answer but I said the right answer for my campus and so you are wrong! The answer is C! Competence is not an essential to work where I work!
I know the above sounds mean and maybe like I am making it up but it isn't and I'm not.
I work with well a boy he is just 19 and right out of high school. He is a student employee and as such has a very limited amount of things he has to do. We shall call him twirls because he often turns around in a circle when he walks and also sometimes when he is just standing still so...
He often looks like he hasn't showered or changed clothes in a week and he mumbles which is on a long list of pet peeves I have, right near the top. I have come to believe that mumbling is like a teen boy thing these days so it's not as if he's alone. Seriously boys open your mouth when you talk it will save us all so much time! He has been working at my campus for almost 6 months and he has yet to master the art of the fax machine! The fax machine being something that we use on a very regular basis like every dang day!!
So that's all for this edition of question Wednesday.
I have no idea why he only posted 4 of the flyer's and the stapler was never seen again!I literally have no idea what he did with it.
It's like what happened to Amelia Earhart we may never know!
